An Environmental Assessment (EA) is being developed to evaluate alternative long term strategies for the management of the Enchanted Valley Chalet. Public input was invited first in June 2004. After the river channel shifted to within 10 feet of the chalet, public comments were again solicited from February 4 to March 10, 2005 to help define the issues and alternatives to be addressed. The river channel has now shifted back to its original position in the valley. An environmental assessment is being prepared based on these current conditions to determine what actions are needed at the chalet.

When the environmental assessment is prepared, it will be posted to this site.
