Gold Star Mothers Monument Public Scoping for Site Selection

The Gold Star Mothers National Monument Foundation, in cooperation with the National Park Service (NPS), has identified the belvedere immediately south of the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Bridge in Washington, DC and two sites near the Arlington National Cemetery Visitor Center for consideration as a site for the Gold Star Mothers Monument. Please join National Park Service staff and planners to learn about this project.
 
Description:
As part of this planning effort, a public scoping meeting will be held by the NPS and the Gold Star Mothers National Monument Foundation on November 17, 2015 at the Women in Military Service to America Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. You are welcome anytime during the hours identified below.

During this open house, the project team will be available to discuss alternatives and site characteristics.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
Please note the Arlington National Cemetery Metro station closes at 7:00pm. Parking is provided on Memorial Avenue during the public meeting.
