SILVER STAR COMMUNICATIONS: WYOMING LOOP COMPLETION PROJECT

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) environmental assessment for the installation of approximately 102 miles of buried high-speed broadband fiber optic cable in Wyoming.

Because the project traverses multiple jurisdictions including federal land on three national forests (Bridger-Teton, Caribou-Targhee, and Shoshone) and Grand Teton National Park, as well as lands controlled or administered by Wyoming Department of Transportation, Town of Jackson, and Teton County, an environmental assessment (EA) has been prepared to disclose potential environmental impacts of the project.
