Rehabilitate Clara Barton National Historic Site FONSI
The National Park Service (NPS) prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) to evaluate the impacts from the rehabilitation of the 130-year-old Clara Barton House (House) within the Clara Barton National Historic Site (NHS), a National Historic Landmark (NHL), located in Glen Echo, Maryland. The proposed action aims to develop a strategy for rehabilitating the House that preserves its historic integrity through targeted preservation, stabilization, and conservation of its original fabric. The statements and conclusions reached in this Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) are based on documentation and analysis provided in the EA and associated decision file.
