Cantwell ORV Management Preliminary Alternatives Newsletter


The National Park Service has been working to develop alternatives for managing subsistence ORV use in the Cantwell traditional ORV use area in the park. In December 2005, we mailed out a scoping letter and held public meetings in Cantwell and Anchorage to ask for ideas.

We have received several comments and have used them to help create a range of preliminary alternatives. We describe these alternatives in this newsletter and explain the details supporting each.
