A seam in the galvanized tin roof of the Maintenance shed has split and is causing a leak. The roof was repaired as part of the remodeling and exterior restoration completed in 2002, but has not been replaced. The building was built circa 1884 and has served as a carriage house, maintenance and storage shed and bakery. The roof was probably added around 1952 when a large addition was built on the south end. The leak appears to be along the sheathing for the raised original north gable end based on the appearance along a rafter inside. The split will be repaired using in-kind materials.
