Replace Storm Windows at Dean House (HS-13) to Improve Energy Efficiency

Lincoln Home National Historic Site » Replace Storm Windows at Dean House (HS-13) to Improve Energy Efficiency » Document List

This project will consist of replacing the 25 existing storm windows that are currently in the Dean House. The current windows are old, deteriorating, and not very energy efficient. These windows will be invisible to the naked eye from the exterior of the house and are inconspicuous enough from the interior so as not to be a distraction to visitors. Twenty-five windows in the Dean House would receive new UV-filtering interior storm windows. This will help maintain correct temperatures and RH, diminish UV rays, and provide pest management and security for the interior of this historic structure.
