FY09 ARRA ROOFING PROJECTS AT OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK
This project is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
Funding will replace deteriorated roofing on both historic and non-historic structures throughout the park, including:
1) Headquarters Cultural Resources/Fee Building -this roof is currently cedar shake and will be replaced with standing seam metal roofing. The roofing profile will be straight between the standing ribs so that solar panels may be installed at a future date.
2) Sol Duc Boundry Interpretive Shelter - this structure is currently cedar shake and will be replaced with new cedar shake roofing.
3) Mora Gas House - this roof is currently cedar shake and will be replaced with standing seam metal roofing.
4) Hoh Generator Powerhouse - this roof is currently cedar shake and will be replaced with standing seam metal roofing.
5) Kalaloch Water Treatment Plant - this roof is currently cedar shake and will be replaced with standing seam metal roofing.
6) Quinault Maintenance Area Equipment Shed building - this roof is currently cedar shake and will be replaced with standing seam metal roofing.
7) Quinault Vandewater Pumphouse - this roof is currently cedar shake and will be replaced with metal roofing.
8) Quinault McLucas Shop - this roof is currently corrugated metal and will be replaced with standing seam metal roofing.
