Three exterior wheelchair lifts used to raise visitors in wheelchairs or scooters into the Lincoln Home, Dean & Cook Houses are in need of replacement. The equipment is 10-19 years old and frequently does not work. These are the only lifts available to provide access into the buildings. They break down regularly causing increasingly expensive service calls to be made as well as eliminating access to the visitor.
