This Environmental Assessment analyzes a request for construction of a wooden staircase, storage of cargo on a glacier, and sling load movement of cargo, near a privately owned parcel located in the Alaska Range. The request for these uses of park land within Denali National Park and Preserve have been submitted to the National Park Service from the property owner, who seeks these uses in support of a business operation located on the private parcel.
The public comment period for this EA has been extended from May 30, 2019 until June 20, 2019.
