FONSI: Access and Use Request, Ruth Glacier, Mountain House LLC

Based on the analysis presented in the EA, the NPS selected Alternative 2, Issuance of a Right of Way Certificate of Access (RWCA) to allow the applicant to build a wooden staircase on NPS land that will provide adequate and feasible access their private property. Alternative 2 also provides for a special use permit to be issued to the applicant that allows for two storage locations on the Ruth Glacier and use of helicopter to slingload cargo from the storage locations to their private property, with a set of terms and conditions.
