Original 2018 report found a finding of no historic properties adversely effected. The contractor failed to follow specifications of the contract and the subsequent construction of the bypass road without protection of the underlying tundra (and the resulting scar on the landscape) resulted in an adverse effect to the Park Road Historic District and Cultural Landscape.
