Finding of No Significant Impact Statement and Errata

The environmental analysis for the construction of a Verizon Wireless telecommunications facility on Park Ridge, near Grant Grove, within Kings Canyon National Park has been completed and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) was approved by Pacific West Regional Director Jonathan Jarvis on August 26, 2009.

The environmental assessment (EA), errata, and FONSI comprise the decision documents for this project. The selected action is to permit the Verizon Wireless Telecommunications Facility at Park Ridge, near Grant Grove, within Kings Canyon National Park. The right-of-way permit is currently being prepared, and construction will commence in spring 2010.
