Environmental Assessment for the Proposed Relocation and Improvements to the Hurricane Ridge Weather Station

This environmental assessment describes the alternatives that were considered for the improvements and relocation of the Hurricane Ridge Weather Station within Olympic National Park. It also evaluates the effects of each alternative.

Ideally, comments on an environmental assessment assess the adequacy of the document in disclosing and evaluating the project's effect on the environment. The comments are most useful if they are as specific as possible.
Topic Questions:
1. Commenters are invited to provide feedback on the environmental assessment. Comments are most helpful if they do the following:

- Discuss a particular plan element or alternative
- Identify incomplete or incorrect information
- Offer reasons why a particular alternative would or would not work
- Offer a reasonable new alternative that could help accomplish the stated goals and project purpose and need
- Point out discrepancies between legal mandates and proposals
- Highlight any deficiencies in the analysis of the environmental consequences
- Provide information on how you use the park and how the project could affect your use
