October 2011 Newsletter

In 2009 the National Park Service (NPS) submitted a grant request to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Paul S. Sarbanes "Transit in Parks Program (TRIP)" to fund development and implementation of strategies to enable the park to manage traffi c congestion and improve the visitor experience at Arches National Park. This newsletter describes the initial progress the NPS is undertaking in developing an Alternative Transportation Feasibility Study.
