Badlands North Unit Bison Resource Stewardship Plan- Finding of No Significant Impact (Fall 2016)

This Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Badlands National Park North Unit Bison Resource Stewardship Plan / Environmental Assessment states that:

"Based on a review of the facts and analysis contained in this environmental assessment (incorporated herein), the selected alternative for the North Unit Bison Resource Stewardship Plan / Environmental Assessment for the park will not have a significant impact, either by itself or in consideration of cumulative impacts. Accordingly, the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act, regulations promulgated by the Council on Environmental Quality, the Department of the Interior, and provisions for NPS Director's Order 12: Conservation Planning and Environmental Impact Analysis and Decision-making and Handbook have been fulfilled."

The FONSI also includes two appendixes: (1) determination of nonimpairment and (2) errata [including corrections to the environmental assessment and responses to public and agency comments].
