Cape Sable II UMAM Assessment Forms

A UMAM analysis provides a standardized procedure for assessing the functions provided by wetlands and other surface waters; the amount that those functions are reduced by a proposed impact; and the amount of mitigation necessary to compensate for that loss in terms of current condition; hydrologic connection; uniqueness; location; fish and wildlife utilization; time lag, and mitigation risk. The forms attached show the qualitative description of the area assessed and the quantification of the assessment area of the analysis performed for the Cape Sable II project.
