Fire Management Plan FEIS/AEF

The Final Environmental Impact Statement/Assessment of Effect (FEIS/AEF) for the Fire Management Plan (FMP) is now available for public inspection.

The FEIS consist of two volumes: Volumes 1 and 2 appear very similar to the Draft EIS, but include a new appendix. This new appendix includes NPS responses to comments made during the 90 day public scoping period for the Draft EIS.

The National Park Service will execute a Record of Decision (ROD) no sooner than 30 days following publication by the Environmental Protection Agency of the Notice of Availability of the Final Environmental Impact Statement.
