Public Scoping Information for the Fitzwater Bridge Replacement EA


The National Park Service (NPS) has initiated an Environmental Assessment that analyzes the potential impacts of rehabilitating and/or replacing the Fitzwater Truss Bridge over the Cuyahoga River and the Waste Weir Bridge over the Ohio & Erie Canal. The construction of a new trailhead and associated parking area at the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail will also be analyzed as part of the Environmental Assessment.

You are invited to comment on the scope and potential impacts of this project beginning November 1, 2006 and lasting until December 15, 2006.
