Poplar Point Plan
In accordance with National Environmental Policy Act requirements, the NPS will prepare an EA to evaluate the project alternatives. The EA will address the project background, the purpose and need for the proposed actions, a determination of environmental issues and potential impacts resulting from the alternatives considered (including a no action alternative), and public involvement and agency coordination. To ensure the proposed project takes into account possible effects it could have on historic and cultural resources, the NPS will also consult with stakeholders through the Section 106 process as required by the National Historic Preservation Act.
