Cape Lookout National Seashore » Proposed price increase for Cape Lookout cabins located at Long Point and Great Island
Cape Lookout National Seashore is soliciting public comment on a proposed change in our pricing structure, and a minor price increase to cabin rental fees. Summer rates were designed to encourage summer rentals. We would like to eliminate the summer rates since occupancy has grown to an average of over 70%. We would like to increase our rates by about 8.5%. There has not been a fee increase since 2009. We would like the public to comment on this proposal.
