Public participation is important to the success of this project. This is our plan process:

Step 1. Inform park visitors, neighbors, and local stakeholders of the intent to evaluate the Derby Wharf exhibits
Step 2. Conduct an evaluation of the current condition of the Derby Wharf exhibits. This includes an assessment of the exhibits' operation, utility, material condition and safety.
Step 3. Invite, accept and review public comments on the proposed project. *
Step 4. Evaluate public comments and incorporate comments into the final evaluation of the proposed project.
Step 5. Make a determination on the removal/modification of the exhibits.
Step 6. Share final determination with the public.
