PEPC and Parkplanning will be offline Weds. May 8th starting at 7 AM MT for scheduled maintenance. Expected downtime is up to three hours.

The National Park Service has completed work on the Tower-Roosevelt Comprehensive Plan. The purpose of the plan is to set limits on what kind, where, and how much future development can occur in this area in the northeast section of Yellowstone. These limits are designed to protect the area's natural resources, and preserve the historic, rustic nature of the area, which was first developed as a stage stop over one hundred years ago.

The FONSI and the Tower-Roosevelt Comprehensive Plan can be found under the "Document List" on the left.

The National Park Service prepared an environmental assessment (EA) for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

Planning Process
Step 1. Public Scoping
Step 2. Analyze public scoping comments
Step 3. Prepare EA
Step 4. Release EA with public comment period (ended July 9, 2009)
Step 5. Analyze written comment received from the public on the EA
Step 6. Prepare Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI)
