Please join park staff to learn about, discuss, and give feedback on a proposed increase in entrance fees at Haleakalā National Park.
 
Description:
The National Park Service (NPS) has updated the standard entrance fee rate schedule to increase entrance fees. This will be the first fee increase since 2006. The proposed increases in park entrance fees will allow us to invest in the improvements necessary to provide the best possible park experience to our visitors. Additional funds will enable us to enhance visitor facilities and services as we approach our centennial anniversary in 2016.
Haleakala National Park proposes increasing fees in three annual increments beginning on or about Memorial Day 2015 to achieve the standard fees established by the National Park Service. In addition to the entrance fee schedule changes, the park is considering an expanded amenity fee for camping at the Kipahulu District of the park.
