The National Park Service (NPS) has initiated a process to complete a Transportation Plan/Environmental Assessment (plan/EA) to improve transportation conditions in Bandelier National Monument. The park is soliciting comments from interested agencies, groups, and individuals and will be hosting two public meetings. The first will be held in White Rock, New Mexico on Monday, September 24, 2012 from 5 PM – 7 PM at the White Rock Town Hall (at 139 Longview Drive). The second public meeting will be held in Los Alamos, New Mexico on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 12 PM – 2 PM at the Fuller Lodge (2132 Central Avenue).
 
Description:
The purpose of the meetings is to provide the public and interested agencies and organizations an opportunity to learn about the plan/EA and comment early in the planning process. Information will be provided regarding the current status of this effort, and park staff will be available to answer questions.

The NPS also invites the public to provide comments on this website by selecting the "Document List" link on the left, then selecting the posted document to comment on, and then clicking the "Comment on Document" link.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
In White Rock, head south on Rover Boulevard and turn right onto Longview Drive. The White Rock Town Hall is the first Left
