Public scoping is an early and open process to determine the scope of environmental issues and alternatives to be addressed in the environmental assessment. Because of your interest in protected species management and recreation at Cape Lookout National Seashore, we hope you will give us your comments, particularly on Issues Identified and any concerns you may have. We also need your ideas for alternatives that will meet the Need, Purpose, and Objectives for Taking Action.

6:00 – 7:00 sign-in and open house, 7:00 – 7:30 short presentation, 7:30 – 9:00 open house

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
The Duke Marine Lab is off of Hwy. 70 on Pivers Island between Beaufort, NC, and Morehead City, NC.
