The National Park Service announces that Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument will host two public meetings on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 (virtual) and Thursday, February 29th, 2024 (in person), to gather public input and provide feedback on the general management plan and environmental assessment (GMP/EA).


There will also be an open public comment period from February 15 to March 16, 2024.

Description:
Public feedback is welcomed on the GMP/EA, which will inform park management for the next 15 years and beyond. The NPS seeks the public's feedback on the GMP's desired conditions, zoning scheme, management strategies, and other important values that are described in the plan related to the monument's future management.
