Community Engagement: Overnight Use at Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park » Community Engagement: Overnight Use at Joshua Tree National Park » Document List

In October 2019, Joshua Tree National Park is hosting three community open house meetings to hear public input on the management of visitor use at the park. The park invites interested members of the public, including those who were unable to attend in-person meetings, to submit comments online about the management of backpacking, car camping, and overnight use.

Comments, concerns, and ideas will be used to inform current and future visitor use management specific to overnight use.

The park is also inviting input about the management of rock climbing, bouldering, and related activities in the park at http://parkplanning.nps.gov/JOTRclimbing. Please keep your comments about these topics separate and uploaded to the appropriate project.
