Shepherd Parkway - Concept Plan
National Capital Parks - East » Shepherd Parkway - Concept Plan
As part of our ongoing community commitment to revitalize and enhance National Park Service (NPS) land in Southeast Washington, D.C., the NPS is preparing a Development Concept Plan for Shepherd Parkway (Reservation #421) in Washington, DC.
During this planning effort we will evaluate existing conditions and consider desired future use and enjoyment of the 205 acres of wooded green space and key sites within Shepherd Parkway like Parkland, Fort Caroll, and Fort Greble to develop a set of recommendations that will improve safety, connectivity, park conditions, and ways for people to enjoy and use Shepherd Parkway.
