Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks is proposing an increase in the price of its park-specific annual pass from its current $50 price to $60. The proposed increase would be enacted on January 1, 2018. The $10 price increase would put the park in line with the service-wide pricing guidelines for park-specific annual passes.

The park's $30 per vehicle entrance fee, $15 per person entrance fee, $25 motorcycle entrance fee, would not change.

Park users have played a critical role in caring for national parks through the provision of user fees like the annual pass. This year we will be replacing the roof at Lodgepole Visitor Center, upgrading restrooms to meet accessibility requirements, and repairing sections of John Muir Trail and Pacific Crest Trail for public safety - all made possible through user fees.
