The Coast to Coast trail network is at its core designed to complement and enhance existing and planned recreation areas. The Space Coast Trail portion of the overall trail would provide a link to/from larger recreation areas such as Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge (MINWR), Canaveral National Seashore (CANA), Parrish Park, Haulover Canal and other numerous sites currently permitted for public use.
