Self Evaluation and Transition Plan

This project seeks to address deficiences in accessibility in the park and preserve. This includes but is not limited to wheelchair access to certain buildings, exhibits, natural features, and other public spaces, adequate designated handicap parking spaces and safe corridors, adequate size, height, and viewing location of exhibits, adequate open spaces and locations of individual units (sinks, toilets, mirrors, etc.) in restrooms and other public facilities, ADA approved gradients on paved surfaces and ramps, and alternative media such as enhanced listening devices for the hearing impaired and films and exhibits for those unable to attend cave tours.
