This project consists of the following elements:

-install a gabion basket debris flow wall across the width of the drainage swale above the house at 9722 Buckeye Road in Old El Portal,

-fertilize and hand seed the three burned out areas of the drainage ravine hillside slopes above 9722 Buckeye Road, and cover the area with a biodegradable erosion control matting material, and

-fertilize, hand seed, and cover burned out area above and below the pedestrian trail above Foresta Road with a biodegradable erosion control matting material and install silt wattles above and below the trail,

-smooth out and re-grade the erosion gulley above the residence, then fertilize and hand seed the gulley after re-grading,

-smooth out and re-grade the erosion gulley below Foresta Road, fertilize and hand seed the gulley after re-grading, install two sandbag water-diversion walls on Foresta Road above the fire origin area and three lines of low asphalt diversion berms to redirect runoff,

-monitor the new wall and catch basin, and

-replace lost sandbags and extend the height of existing diversion walls at 5674 Foresta Road.
