Mormon Row Historic District Management Alternative and Environmental Assessment

Grand Teton National Park » Mormon Row Historic District Management Alternative and Environmental Assessment » Document List

This 1999 document is a plan and environmental assessment of management and interpretive alternatives for Mormon Row, a historic district in Grand Teton National Park. The purpose of the plan was to address conditions at the historic property that visitors reported such as inadequate parking, lack of interpretation, deteriorated condition of many of the historic structures, and overall lack of amenities.

The environmental assessment was completed in 1999 and FONSI signed by the regional director 4/10/2000. Compliance for several actions, implementing the EA-approved infrastructure improvements with slight modifications and performing preservation maintenance, was completed under categorical exclusions in 2015. These documents are also attached.
