York County has asked permission from the Park to widen a section of Cook Road and Ballard Street in Yorktown. The widening will consist of extending the pavement of the roads an additional two feet from the current edge of pavement to allow for safer travel by bicyclists. No additional striping or signage will be installed to delineate the bike lane
