Mesa Verde National Park (Park) is proposing a project to construct a new, fully accessible, comfort station in the Headquarters Loop, Mesa Verde National Park, Montezuma County, Colorado. The new building will be within the Administrative District National Historic Landmark. The new comfort station building is needed to increase user capacity for the over 585,000 people that visit the park every year. The current comfort station facilities in the Headquarters Loop are inadequate to handle the number of visitors arriving during the peak summer season.

A preliminary design for the new building has been developed and we invite the public to comment on the plans and provide input on the project. The National Park Service will accept comments on the project through September 30, 2016.
