ADAMS National Historical Park Proposes Fee Increase

Quincy, MA - ADAMS National Historical Park(Adams NHP) is seeking input from visitors, stakeholders, and community members regarding a proposed fee increase in 2015. The Adams NHP will hold a public engagement meeting on Wednesday, January 28 from 1 to 3 pm at the Visitor Center, 1250 Hancock Street, Quincy that will include a public comment session. This forum will be to discuss possible fee increases in 2015. The current park entrance fees have been in place since 2006. Proposed fees will increase as follows: Entrance Fee from $5.00 to $l0.00; Park Annual Pass from $10.00 to $40.00.

To submit a comment on the proposal outlined below, please visit http://parkplanning.nps.gov/AdamFeeProposal. The 30 day open comment period begins on January 22, 2015 and concludes at 12:00 noon EST on February 23, 2015. The National Park Service has proposed that all fees will increase by 2017, starting in 2015. This proposed fee increase will not occur without input from the general public and local, state, and federal representatives and other interested stakeholders. This is the purpose of the public meeting on January 28th.
