Replace Visitor Carpet path in Lincoln Home (HS-01)

The project will replace approximately 1000 square feet of broadloom commercial-grade carpet in the Lincoln Home (HS-01). The carpet forms a path for visitors to follow during their tour of the Lincoln Home to prevent them from walking on the reproduction carpets elsewhere in the rooms. Approximately 250,000 visitors toured the Lincoln Home annually, in all weathers. Although the carpet was vacuumed daily and steam-cleaned on a regular basis, it has worn out. It was last replaced in 2008. The carpet replacement includes two flights of stairs, and two large curving sections in Abraham and Mary Lincoln's bedrooms.
