Bandelier Proposes Entrance Fee Increases

Bandelier National Monument is seeking public comment on a proposal to raise entry fees. Under the proposal Bandelier would raise the single vehicle entrance fee from $12 to $20 for a seven-day pass. Individual entrance fees would increase from $6 to $10 for a seven-day pass and the motorcycle entry fee will increase from $6 to $15. The Bandelier annual pass would increase from $30 to $40.

The proposed increase is part of a larger National Park Service initiative to standardize fees for parks offering similar visitor experiences. Fees at Bandelier have not increased since 2006, despite escalating costs for running the park. New fees could be implemented in early 2015. However, feedback will determine, how, or if a fee increase would be implemented.

Further information on this proposal can be found by clicking the "Document List" or the "Open for Comment" links at the left of this page.
