Fort Davis National Historic Site Proposes Entry Fee Increase

Fort Davis National Historic Site » Fort Davis National Historic Site Proposes Entry Fee Increase » Document List

Fort Davis National Historic Site (FODA) is seeking public comment on a proposal to raise entry fees from $3 per person for a seven-day pass to $7 per person for a seven-day pass, up to a maximum of $15 per vehicle. Under the proposal, the fee for a motorcycle would be $10.

The proposed increase is part of a larger National Park Service initiative to standardize fees for parks offering similar visitor experiences. Fees at FODA have not had an increase since 2001, despite escalating costs for running the park.

To comment on the proposed fee increase please submit comments through this website by clicking on the tab to the left "open for comment" under project links and clicking on the Press Release document. If you are unable to comment on-line please submit written comments to the address below. In addition, faxed comments will be accepted at (435) 692-1111. All public comments must be received by January 2, 2014.
