USS Arizona Memorial Reservation System Changes

Pearl Harbor National Memorial » USS Arizona Memorial Reservation System Changes » Document List

Aloha,

The WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument is seeking your comment on ways to change how the USS Arizona Memorial program online reservation system operates so that both independent travelers and those relying on tour companies can both be assured reserved access to programs.

USS Arizona Memorial programs are held every fifteen minutes from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm with a short break over the lunch hour. A limit of 150 visitors per program is enforced for safety and facility capacity reasons. The demand for this program is very high during busy seasons, but tickets are generally available for most afternoon programs. There is a daily maximum number of 4,350 visitors who can visit the USS Arizona Memorial.

The recreation.gov online reservation system has been in use in Pearl Harbor for the past three years with high demand and utilization. The NPS conducted a review of the manner in which the ticketing program was being implemented locally and has made recommendations that are being followed. Additional changes to improve how visitors and business partners experience the reservation system are underway, including shortening the booking window horizon down from six months; improving the website interface; providing an expansion of the 'next day' reservation program.

The NPS is seeking your comments on ways to improve how reservations are made for the USS Arizona Memorial. Please let us know what you think!
