Big Cypress National Preserve of the National Park Service (NPS) and Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge of the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) share a common boundary, have similar resources, and commonly assist each other during prescribed fire and wildfire events. Both agencies have fire management plans in need of updating. This project will entail updating of each plan by the NPS and FWS and preparation of a single Environmental Assessment and related documents for both plans by contractor.

The Environmental Assessment is available by choosing "Document List" at left and "BICY and FPNWR Fire Management Plans Environmental Assessment, July 2016" on the ensuing screen.
