This project consists of repairing and staining pergola on the Southeast corner of the Visitor Center (S-31) exterior. Approximately 750 SF of pergola needs to be stained, along with some minor repairs made to the wooden structure. Work will consist of trimming back approximately 750 square feet of wisteria vines, preparing, sanding, repairing joists and supports, and staining of the pergola. The wisteria will be allowed to grow back upon completion. The pergola and wisteria vines it supports provide a visual softening agent to the modern Visitor Center building, which is in the viewshed from the front door of the Lincoln Home.

This project also consists of repairing and painting the 200 SF west porch on Corneau House (HS-02), and replacing 36 FT of guttering system on the entire building. Work consists of replacing all deck boards on porch with treated lumber, making repairs to joists as needed, and painting entire porch. In addition, the gutter system on the Corneau will be replaced with half round lead coated copper guttering and downspouts. The gutter project will be completed after the completion of PEPC #44038 Replace rotten soffit board behind gutter on north side of house.
