The concrete floor (450 SF) in the Miller Shed needs to be replaced for better used of storage space and for safety. The current floor is cracked and uneven. It was probably poured in the 1980s and contains lumber storage as well as the covered parking space for the park's squad car. In addition, approximately 1276 SF of exterior rough sawn board-and-batten siding needs a new stain coat as well as replacing the southeast cornerboard. It is believed that the shed was last stained in the mid-1990s but may be earlier. The project will also cover the replacement of approximately 500 SF of cedar shingles on the Dean Laundry Shed roof to adequately protect the structure and its contents. The shingles were last replaced in the mid 1990s.

No archeological work has been completed on the Miller Shed area.
