The National Park Service (NPS) has prepared an environmental assessment (EA) to analyze the environmental effects of the installation of a climate monitoring station at the OX Ranch in Mojave National Preserve by the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). You are invited to comments on this document.
June 28, 2012: The National Park Service has concluded with a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for this proposed action. The FONSI is available to the public upon request. The timing of this project has been deferred by NOAA, pending future available funding.
