The National Park Service will complete a new Fire Management Plan and supporting NEPA documentation, for Fort Bowie National Historic Site . Scoping letters were sent to neighbors and interested parties, asking for comments and suggestions from 3/8/2011 through 4/8/2011. An Environmental Assessment for the Fire Management Plan will be available for public comment; the National Park Service anticipates that the Environmental Assessment will be available for public comment in the fall of 2012.
