Badger Pass, Install Phone Line

The purpose of this project is to replace a damaged phone line between the Day Lodge and the Maintenance building at Badger Pass. The existing line has been damaged and communication from the Day Lodge to other locations is intermittent and unreliable. During recent construction activity at Badger Pass, the existing underground phone line has been damaged beyond repair. This project would remove the existing line and install a new underground phone line within fill at the edge of the roadway between the two areas. The phone line will be placed in conduit and laid in a trench that is approximately 18 inches deep, 6 inches wide and 200 yards long (see map)
