Cedargrove Water System Rehab

This project will replace 665 ft. of water line and extend the existing water line 84 ft. to provide potable water next to the Vault Toilet in the Day-Use Area near the Dee Murray Vault Toilet at Cedargrove. Work will entail excavating a trench 12 in. wide and 24 in. deep for a distance of 750 ft. From 3-4" of base aggregate will be set in on the trench floor and a 1.5" dia. HPDE pipe set in place. A new frost-proof hydrant will be installed at the terminus within the grass island where the Vault Toilet is located. Excavated fill will be returned to the trench and the area of disturbance seeded and mulched. The work will be completed 'in-house' by park staff.
