Replace Culverts on Still Creek w/ Bridge and Mill/Overlay Park Central Road

Greenbelt Park » Replace Culverts on Still Creek w/ Bridge and Mill/Overlay Park Central Road » Document List

The National Park Service (NPS), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), has initiated an Environmental Assessment to analyze the potential impacts of proposed improvements to the Main Entrance Road (Maryland Route 10), Park Central Road, Sweetgum Picnic Loop (Route 200) and Laurel Picnic Area (Route 201). The improvements would include rehabilitation of the roadways, parking lots, guardrails and drainage structures. One alternative under consideration involves the replacement of an existing double culvert with a bridge over Still Creek. The proposed activities may include temporary road closures and detours within the Park.
