Lowell National Historical Park » General Management Plan Amendment

The Lowell National Historical Park has completed a draft amendment to its General Management Plan. The purpose of the GMP Amendment is to reconsider the location of its visitor orientation center and parking lot within the broader context of the Park's mission and goals. It was undertaken in response to the City's proposed redevelopment of the Hamilton Canal District located immediately adjacent to the Park's Visitor Center and at the Gateway to the Park.
